Vo-tech school №88 - Information

Vocational and technical school N88 was founded in 1991 in the village of Magdalinivka, Dnipropetrovsk region. Today, PTU No. 88 trains highly qualified workers from among graduates of general educational institutions on the basis of basic or complete general secondary education, as well as training, retraining and upgrading the qualifications of working workers and the unemployed population. It was one of the first to switch to the training of specialists with secondary education and began training in course and individual forms of training.

The school was built according to a typical project, the total area of which is 22,031 m2, educational (classrooms) - 1,674 m2

Vo-tech school №88 has 8 classrooms of natural and mathematical sciences, humanities, general technical disciplines, 6 classrooms. from special disciplines, 5 laboratories, 3 workshops for professional-theoretical and professional-practical training. The language of the educational process is Ukrainian.

There is a dormitory on the territory of the school. The hostel has 40 rooms, with a capacity of 2-5 people. the rooms are arranged according to the block system, there are 2 rooms in one block. Each block has a bathroom. The rooms have the necessary furniture - beds, bedside tables, tables, wardrobes. there is a TV room. There is a shower room, a cooking room, and a laundry room. Also, the educational institution is provided with all the necessary accessibility conditions for the education of persons with special educational needs

There is a dining room for 50 people. The food is delicious and the lunch is not expensive at all. Both students and teachers and employees of the school eat in the dining hall.

Students who study well are paid a scholarship. Also, rewards are awarded for active participation in various events, competitions, and Olympiads, thereby encouraging education seekers. Festive events are held for various holidays. Students prepare performances: singing, dancing, greeting cards.
