Group work

A circle (section, club, creative association) is the main traditional form of implementing the content of extracurricular education and educating students both in the process of studying a separate subject or a combination of them, as well as various integrated courses within the curriculum approved by the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine or adapted curricula . By its essence, the circle is a specific community of children and school youth, which is based primarily on voluntariness, common interests, focus on a certain type of educational and practical activity; an environment where the conditions for intellectual, spiritual and physical development of children are ensured, the realization of their creative potential in the field of extracurricular education and upbringing, and comfortable conditions for social adaptation to the conditions of real life are created. Group work is an important form of extracurricular work at school. When organizing group work, teachers try to bring its content as close as possible to the children's interests, to direct the development of students' creativity, their abilities, talents, the formation of aesthetic taste, a healthy lifestyle, and to meet the needs of students regarding the realization of their personality.

Each student group has a specific goal and sets certain requirements for group members. In the work of the circles, various forms and methods are used, which attract children. To create conditions for group members to master practical skills, group leaders can use online platforms, internal educational resources of enterprises (if available). At the same time, place on your own educational resources: technological maps for the performance of types of practical tasks; sequences of technological processes; educational films; step-by-step instructions for performing practical tasks, etc. Vocational and technical school No. 88 has 18 different clubs of various directions that help students realize their creative abilities and spend their leisure time with benefit.
